Could use better text formatting on import

An excellent app save one feature: some of the paste boards end up formatted poorly, which makes them less easy to read. Other than that, the app is very useful.

Great app!

With an assortment of books and the speed reading highlights, you can improve your reading speed steadily.

Almost Perfect!

This app is great!

Love it

Great app improving reading speed and enjoying your ebooks. I especially enjoy seeing how long it will take to read a book at a certain wpm; its like having a movie "run time" but for your books.

Waste of money

Biggest waste of money

No book imports

I think the app is fine for improving reading speed, but WHY cant you import your own books or articles from Instapaper, Pocket, the web, etc. It really needs this in a future update.

Very good but

I like the app very much, however, it lacks support for PDF files and importing of own ebooks. Option of flash card reading can be a good addition for improving speed reading. Also if an additional feature such as automatic incremental increase of speed by certain percentage while reading will definitely add value to the app, should optional.

One of the best readers around

I use it everyday and now with bookmark feature it makes a great app even better. Helps get through reading with ease and enjoyment. Helped give me a steady improvement in my reading speed.

Great app

Hope the developers keep supporting!

Best reading app

Helps increase your reading speed naturally. Love all the customizable features.

Quick reader

An excellent compendium for the finding and then reading of books free. Things could not be any better! Further this book list is always available for pulling down a book in other genres at any time.

Challenging

Help yourself out of the complacency of hum drum...kick start your mind to another level of awareness of your possibilities by disciplining yourself beyond the "normal" programming of conventional learning...

Quick, Compact, and Easy.

I must say that although we purchased this app for its speed-reading improvement capabilities; it quickly became our favourite book reader, with or without the timed reading. Quickreader has so many extras that actually help the user, instead of being bloat-ware, including but hot limited to: an auto-rotational lock; one swipe brightness control; day and night settings (to make the most of your battery); and a wide variety of fonts, sizeable text, and colours to suit any need. Lastly, of all the book readers we have come across, Quickreader has the largest selection of book libraries to choose from, including (but not limited to) Gutenberg and The Internet Archive. My only complaint is more of a suggestion for future builds: Please stop thinking of QR as a real book, with pages you have to tap or slide to turn over; use the most of your medium. Thinking outside the box, one could see that being able to scroll down as you are reading, like a long webpage, would be a marvellous feature to add, perhaps moving the brightness controls else-ware.PDF support would also be nice. Cheers

Great app to access books in many languages

Love how you can access books from Feedbooks and Project Gutenberg.

Awesome app!

Get this app and get thousands of free books from the Gutenberg press!

Very cool!

QuickReader is very nicely done -- having the moving highlight pushing me along in the text is very effective. Sometimes it feels like I want to move ahead of it, and other times I feel I’m being pulled along faster than I would have read otherwise. IOW it’s showing me just how turbulent my reading speed tends to be. It’ll be nice to have an opportunity to even things out. I totally love how it automatically interfaces with the ebook library in Calibre, where I have all my ebooks stored anyway. I just opened the "Books in calibre" item and all my books in Calibre (already running on my Mac) were automagically listed right there on the iPhone. Didn’t have to set anything up at all. So now I have lots of interesting things to read. Nifty! There is one problem, though its really outside of the design of the app -- QuickReader isnt good with Japanese text. It does display it just fine, but without spaces between the words QR doesnt know where to divide things so the moving highlight can’t split text into e.g. three chunks-per-line. It just displays each line as one chunk, meaning at the same speed setting it scrolls down the page at triple speed :D. But it’s not designed for Japanese text, so that’s not worth a star off. Totally worth the 700 yen.

HELP, tell me how to import other catalogs

他のカタログをどうやったら追加出来ますか?どなたか教えて頂けませんでしょうか? Im a Japanese user, I couldnt import other catalogs paid in eReader, iBooks or Stanza to QuickReader. What am I supposed to do? My operation was as follows: eReader上に購入済みの本が読みたいのですがうまく行きませんでした、操作は以下の様に行いました… main screen > normal reading > import > download more than one book > tap "edit" button > add other catalogs(tap green "+" button) > input catalogs URL, title, subtitle > tap "add" button > popped up "error occurred during catalog addition, like incorrect URL." *I tried Stanzas URL in Apple Store since I couldnt find out eReader Pros URL as it vanished in the store. It doesnt seem to have specifics for it in QuickReader. メイン→普通の読書→インポート→複数の本をダウンロード→編集→他のカタログ追(グリーン+ボタンタップ)→カタログURL、タイトル、副題→追加ボタンタップ→「カタログに追加中エラー発生 URLが正しくないようです」となりました。※ eReaderアプリがApple Storeから消えていたので、Apple Store上のStanzaのアプリのURLを入力して追加を試してみました。QuickReader自体にはガイドがないようです。

Great reader that is truly useful

Ive been using this for half a year and am convinced that it enhanced my reading skills.

Great App

Though Im not a native English speaker my reading speed is improving significantly.
